What is the wastegate spring lbs. rating on the apexi rx6 turbo kit

Does anyone know the lbs. rating of the wastegate spring in the rx6 turbo kit? Also if they sell different lbs springs too?

thanks
Kelvin

1 to 17 LBS. adjustable from what I was told by A'PEXI. I don't like the waste gate. I have a friend who blew his Honda when it stuck closed. I have also read various reports of other people having problems. I changed mine to a TIAL which is the best in my opinion. Requires a little welding on the A'PEXI RX6 kit.

The spring is rated at 1 bar 14.7 psi... It will not go any lower.

There are no other springs that fit it, that I know of... I was one of the first ones to use the RX-6A turbine outside of Japan and I had no luck finding a weaker spring.

Thanks Cheuk. I am selling my waste gate and when I called A'pexi to get the info for my add they told me 1 - 17 LBS. adjustable by the btm. bolt. I guess it is hard to find good help. I will call again to verify.

Did they tell you how to adjust the pressure, particularly to the higher ranges (15-17lbs.)? I've tried tightening and loosening the bolt to both extremes and can't get it to hold above 10lbs. It starts venting early and totally lets loose at .62-.65 bar all the time.
