What Spark Plug Set Up Are You Running With Single Setup

I did research already and I just wanted to know what people are using for the street with a single setup.

I am currently installing the AF61 turbo in my car and running a E6K and using 9's all around. Has anyone run 7 and 9's with a single turbo setup?

Thanks for any help
Diego

You should stay away from 7's if you are going single. I will be using all 9s during breakin. but when I go tune I plan on running two 9's and two 10's......or all 10's

I run the NGK 11.5's. The real question is, how much boost are you planning on running?

Get educated fast......

You need to get educated fast .... you're involved in an expensive project and it's a bit surprising you don't know about this stuff....but then again, I didn't either and had to get educated.....we all start somewhere.....

Here's a good place to start:

http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/techinf...000&country=US

I run:

91 Octane Kalifornia Unleaded for street, VP 103 unleaded for track
16 ~ 18 lbs boost (16 for 91 Octane, 18 for VP 103, will go to ~ 20 at some point).
TO4S
HKS Twin Power ignition w/ 2nd gen coil packs (a bit beefier), which are moved to the side of the motor to improve cooling
10.5 NGKs all this winter, getting ready to put in 11s at my next oil change for summer

I also run 10.5 to 11.2 AFRs under boost.

I've found the 10.5s show a nice brown color that might still be a bit too hot, so I'm looking forward to seeing how the 11s work out. I ruin anything less than 10s in ~ 5K miles with this setup. My 10.5's have ~10K miles on them and they still look good and perform well.

EDIT - this is controlled using a Wolf 3D. I found my PFC chewed up plugs and I don't know why...I think the OMP settings were too high on the PFC and I fouled plugs and blew motors. My tuner is the Wolf dealer so he knows it very well, and I'm certain that has helped.

I run B10EGV which are gapped at .022 - I run on the rich side under boost and running stock coils with the twin power. I do however have a set of T2 coils which I'll be throwing in. Or I might just sell my ignition setup and go with a MSD 6AL and some MSD coils... maybe a Crane HI6 - we'll see.

Regardless, the B10EGV's seem to do well, and of those aren't cold enough I have B11EGV's. I also have a set of HKS 10.5 and 11 race plugs that I'll be using for the drag strip when its all said and done.

I use the B10EGV's for street, and I run 91octane at 15psi and 91 + methanol at 19psi. I don't have any breakup issues using the 10's unless I'm running stupid, stupid rich.

ANything over 15psi, you should get colder plugs. Bad thing about cold plugs is.. they foul quicker unless you're on the throttle a lot. Short runs kill them.
