What Single Should I go for???
Im tired of the bullshit stock twins. To much damn trouble. I was trying to decide on what turbo to get. I was thinking about the XS To4s, T78, or Gt35/40. What do you all think would be the best turbo to get. Or to run with stock motor?

all of those will be fine with a stock motor, it just depends what u want out of your turbo, the gt35/40 spools faster than the t78 i believe, but its all waht u want,.... id attempt to search this forum for more detailed information on these turbos.. there should be an abundance

A T78 is going to have a LOT of lag, especially on stock ports. I'd look for one of the following, if you want a decent power increase (~400rwhp) with relatively quick spool:
Apex'i RX6
TO4B 60-1
TO4E 57 trim
GT 35/40 ($$, more HP, Dual Ball Bearing --> decent spool, harder to get, etc.)
The XS TO4S is (so I've heard) pretty much identical to the TO4B 60-1, so that would probably make for a good choice. Somebody on the forum put down 470rwhp with a TO4S awhile back IIRC, while the 60-1 seems to hit a bit less (~400?)
I think after all the hassle of going single, however, that you will probably end up with more headaches / problems to work through than just sorting out the stock twins

1990 TII, TO4B 60-1, Haltech E6K, etc. etc....

Took me almost 3 years to work through problems with the twins control system. Everything from solinoids to leaky Y-pipe to popped off vacuum lines, And cracked hoses and all sorts of problems that didnt get revealed until I took the entire car apart while installing the Single Turbo. I get all the boost I want in any gear any weather at any RPM. Its never been simpler. The only problems you will encounter with a single rather than stock twins is maybe emissions in your state and breaking parts from all the power. But no one said you had to run 18 psi. It still makes more power at the same boost as the twins and actually makes alot less heat. A Single turbo is better in every way. Even new Ball Bearing types spool just as fast as stock twins.

HKS T51R is a good all around option. I have a RX6 IHI apexi and I'm very very happy. I can only assume the T51 is capable of more power, but where I'm from I need to get it smog checked, so the apex allows me to keep my air pump and I pass with flying colors. Never a hassel for me, hehehee, and I still get 450 HP.

The T51R is pretty laggy I heard. It's good for high speeds, but i don't know about anything else. Even for drag racing, I don't even know of any tuners who would use it over something smaller like a T78 or T04S

"Richierich, how much did you dyno with your apex'i kit? I haven't heard of anyone getting near 450rwhp at least not at decent boost levels. "
I had ice on the engine, and nos spraying on the intercooler. I also have a race port. I also was using 118 race gas at about 18 or 19 psi.
Anyone else with the rx6 try this technique, you will see amazing number increases. I was 80HP lower after 5 pulls, just shows you how heat can suck up the power.
