Thumbs up What to keep and what to trash?

I am going single and I have looked a many post on what to keep and what to trash. Non of them have been 100% clear. My main issue right know is the rats nest. I have attached a pic of what I think I can remove and have put ? were I am not sure of removing.

I will not only be going single I will also be using the CJ Motorsports fuel kit, removing double throttle, removing the coolent hose to the throttle body, removing air pump, and EGR. This is everything that I can think of at this moment.

Please help out if you have gone do this road.

will you be still using the factory ecu? if you're going to use a standalone ecu then you can remove everything. sorry i don't know what that fuel kit that you're going to use consists of.

I have a Power FC. Of corse I will have to have the car tuned when I am done. The fuel kit comes with rails, hoses and fuel pressure regulator.

I will have a non ported engine for now. I am looking to get 400 rwhp off of pump gas (91 oct).

just remove the whole rats nest you dont need anything that is under the intake manifold...once you remove the rats nest its pretty much smooth sailing from their.

My car has about 5 vac lines... Let me see if I can name them:

brake booster hose
MAP sensor
Fuel pressure regulator
boost controller
oil metering bolts (1 hose with a tee fitting)
purge control

I dunno, maybe I forgot some... but you don't need most of what's there

I understand the vac lines needed. What my concern was with the rats nest. After looking at the pic in the book I was surprised on what was not needed and thought I would double check. removing the complete rats nest it is my understanding I also can do away with the 2 vac tanks that I put ? marks by.

Cool. I defiantly understand why going single is such a great idea. Lot of work and a bit pricey, but the up side is so great.
