What is IAT, and do I need it no emissions single turbo?
AFAIK its needed if not running a MAF, its used by the ecu to calculate the air density. ie) total quantity of air at , lets say 12psi, will be very different if its 80* F versus 140* F
thanks guys, we did leave it in the harness. finally got the car running although it won't rev past 1500 rpms, and the rebuilt tranny didn't have 1st. so we definitely have some kinks to work out. tranny is out and be fixed as we speak, and looks into the cps gap as the possibly culprit on my inability to go past 1500 rpms in gear.

let's bring this back from the dead. I have a car that is all of a sudden having issues with a manifold glowing red at idle, as well as very hard startup at cold. do you guys think this could be my culprit? and if I replace the sensor would you recommend moving it?
well I was just curious if I could test if my glowing manifold thing was related, but I'll just wait til my new sensor comes and I relocate it. should be fine to leave the old sensor in the stock location, and then put the new one in my Greddy elbow.
my car is fresh off the dyno/tune. I had a turbo failure. it didn't glow before, but just started after I put the new turbo on. it's gotta be something dumb. what's the easiest way to check timing?
