What happend to the R85 numbers??

I asked this question about 4-5 months ago and was told a bunch of people were about to dyno with the stock UIM/LIM so I could see some real numbers so I laid off and waited and still havent seen anything. I did a search and unless I missed something we still dont have numbers. If we do I apologize. Its about decision time so these numbers would really help the process.

Thanks
David Jerome

My car is still untuned and the way things look it won't be until October. I've just been too bust this summer to mess with the car.

My car will be out of paint soon, next I will be rerouting the wastegate back into the exhaust, and then I will get the fine tuning done. Allrotor had the car tuned well enough. Its damn crazy and drivable, faster than any bullet bike (haven't seen a hyabusa yet) Ive come accross 50 to 110 on pump gas at 18 lbs and at 4500 ft elevation. There are two locals with supercars, one with an enzo, another with a carrera gt, that would be a great roll-on race. Butt dyno is just that, talking out my butt, but I would say around 460 wheel at that boost, but that is the butt dyno. My buddies viper will have his supercharger on by the time I get my car back from paint. And that will give some more relativity. Be paitient. If you call me feel free to pm me and we can talk. If you are even in salt lake city area, I would love to give you a ride. Greg.

Steve Kan is gonna tune mine in two weeks, I'll post results. I'm not going for huge numbers, but we'll see. I have stock ports, plumbed back into the DP wastegate, and I'm adding an extra Muffler in the Mid-pipe to quiet things down (I have an apex-i N1 right now) I will probably tune for 17 psi on 93 octane. We'll see what happens.

X...

I havent driven my can now for a month, I pick it up tommorow and can't wait to see the paint (just got back from family trip to VA beach). Painter said he was happy with the outcome. My buddie just got done putting a 12 lb roe supercharger on his viper. He is coming over tonight, it sould be a great ride. I hear there is no traction at 3/4 throttle or above in 1st and 2nd gears, it has to be insane. I have never been in anything that would just lay wheel with no clutch work just working the throttle. That is the interesting thing about the r85 (obviously not producing viper s/c'd torque), but driveability/traction has not been an issue at all (running 285 pilots). Its going to be a great run to 60, and I am sure by 80 he is going to running my *** down. I just got done reading my sport compact car and they had all of those 1000 hp supras and at the texas event the AAP car had the fastest et at 8.5 seconds or something @150 or so mph, but a turbo'd viper had a trap of 180+mph. My buddie Jared with the viper is really doing it relativly cheaply (if your into vipers). $35K for a mint 94 3000 mile black RT10, $12,000 for supercharger, roller rockers, flywheel, clutch. HE should Dyno about 750 whp/ and more torque. In the end, an FD does it for me over anything this side of a Ferrari F430 (oh, maybe I would be OK with a 360 Modena if they came with a 100K warranty. It should be great to see what my butt dyno indicates on his car.
