What do you guys think.....

I am finishing up my long awaited mods for my car. HKS T04R kit, Front mount, HKS ignition, Power FC, nipen. fuel pump, and full exaust.
My question is this, with stock engine ports and as of now stock injectors what kind of boost/hp do you suggest. My first race is against my friends 03 Cobra and I don't want to lose to a stang so any suggestoins are welcome.

Umm, you should upgrade your injectors if you want to make reliable rwhp over 350! If you're gonna run pump fuel, keep the boost no higher than 15 psi.

Agreed. With the stock injectors you are really limiting the amout of Boost/HP you can run. With stock ports you can still make good power, some people have done very well on them but i figure why limit your self if you have the chance to get a porting job done. But either way good luck.

I have been thinking about getting bigger injectors, as long as i have the money for it. I know I will need them to be safe with big power. Any knowledge on how four 850 injectors perform, as I have two extra.

By upgrading you injectors we mean secondary one's. You have 550cc primaries and 850cc secondaries stock. The 550cc are used for idle and lower rpm, the secondaries are used when the boost gets going. (correct me if im wrong here??) If you were to get 4 850's much wouldnt change, you would still be running 850's as you secondary injectors and you need more than that to get massive hp. Go with 1300cc secondaries and leave ur primaries stock, and also get a fuel pump.

just get 1600s and have the 850s as primaries. that should be enough for a safe 500whp on race gas

4 850s are almost as much fuel as 550/1200s. The primaries don't turn off when boost comes on. You can get 400 rwhp with 4 850s at stock fuel pressure.
