So you have no idea of how or what's required to go single but you have already decided to go single? I think you need to do a little more research....there's a sticky in the single turbo forum where people list their set-ups. I suggest you read through that.

Well, depends.. Are you going single for reliability? Or power?

Get a T88 and just drop it in there. No mods needed.

On a more serious note...don't ask us, we will tell you to get the turbo we already have. Decide for yourself based on research. Search the forum for questions just like yours, you will find a more detailed response. Your question is phrased a little stupidly to not illicit much more than the usual newbie redundant statements. Such as USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION. It sounds as if you just bought the car and have no idea what you are getting into. So find out or be more intelligent about finding answers on the forum.

asking someone to just tell you what to run is not doing research.

Researching is learning about the effects of different turbos and what you need to run them so YOU can make an educated choice as to what you want to run.

If you just want somebody to tell you what to do, you set yourself up for all kinds of problems. Still, if that's the route you want to go, call up Jason at the rx7store and he'll put together everything you need. You will need to find someone to tune your ecu for the single after it's installed.

Ok. Here we go.

You will need:

ECU at PowerFC level or above
Datalogit and or wideband
Clutch
Fuel Pump
Upgraded injectors and secondary rail (You can do 1300's in the secondary but it's recommended to do larger with a custom rail.
Fuel Pressure Regulator (Fittings and lines as well)
Large intercooler or water injection
Custom piping most likely
Custom downpipe
Removal of damn near everything in the engine bay (Rats nest, airpump etc)
boost controller
Turbo
Manifold
Wastegate
Gaskets
Oil feed and return line
Diff Brace

You can get a kit that includes Turbo, wastegate, manifold lines and downpipe... But they are pricey

You'll need plenty of dyno time, another car, a girlfriend that understands "wrenching it" and a shitload of beer. Punching bag is good too.

I left out boost gauge, water temp gauge, ast and radiator... That's a given... I imagine I left some **** out... But someone will correct me I'm sure if I did.

The big question you also need to ask yourself is what you want to use the car for. Everyday driving, auto-x, road racing, or drag racing. That should be a big deciding factor in your choice.

plan on spending close to 10k after everything is said and done. you may get out of it a little cheaper if you do the work yourself and tune it yourself. Also, if you dont have a healthy motor, now is a time to start saving for one of those, cuz it will blow really quick if its not in good condition with a single turbo. thats another 5k for a nice street ported motor and install. good luck man you made a pretty costly decision.

Just to supply you with some info that influenced my choice. Look at Rebuild costs, manifold style(cast or stainless), your engine ports (stock, street port, bridge port, etc.) You also have turbo size and ball bearing options to tailor to your drving style/lag issues.
My personal opinion is that I like cheap to rebuild turbos, and I wish I would have went alittle larger, because lag isn't an issue with the setup I have. Having a Ball Bearing GT35/40 kit is nice. but also costs 700 more dollars, and the rebuild will be more to. Alittle more hp though. But there are alot of things involved in picking out a kit. Also get a kit with a universal flange for when it's time to swap out with a larger turbo. Say after you get a more agressive port or something.
