I have tried alot of them and the Greddy SP is my choice. It may not flow as well as the others, but sounds good and not to loud.

i have greddy sp on my car, flows lesser than my stock TII exhaust, my stock t2 can give me about 11 psi and greddy sp keeps me at 8 psi, (weak wastegate). The sound is the same for me, i gut my cats and sounds same as greddy sp with gut cats. Just at high revs etc the exhaust make a "whOOO00Or" noise. hey JASON you want to send me a sound clip how urs sound like becuase i think my clogg or something?

i love my hks carbon/ti hyper c-back. it gets loud, but man, the tone is beautiful. at WOT it sounds like a damn monster. the local v8 guys love it and the kandykids envy it. haha.

I've tried three exhausts on my car and I've come to the conclusion that nothing is quiet with a true midpipe. I had the Greddy SP on my non-seq car with a midpipe and it was the most ri-G*d-damn-diculous sound I have ever heard come from a car. The interior resonsance between 2500 and 3800 rpm was literally painful. I've since added an XR-1 to the midpipe and now it is bearable -but only just. I only recommend a resonated midpipe and an RB dual cat-back.

I used to run the apex'i n1 single but it was too loud, so I just run a racing beat now because it's nice and quiet.

Tanabe Racing Medalion all the way. Not too loud, good size piping.

I have the older RS*R (Racing Beat) painted dual tip. It is quieter than just about any aftermarket exhaust out there, but I would guess that it also costs some power compared to the big straight-thru designs. I think the newer Racing Beat dual tip (the one they now sell) flows better but is also a little louder (though still is probably the quietest aftermarket system). I might switch to the newer one some day.

The Racing Beat dual tip exhausts are really nice because they have a subtle look and are relatively quiet. I had a GReddy Power Extreme before, and I liked the sound (it was also pretty quiet) but didn't like the huge tip.

Anything will be loud with a single turbo and a midpipe, as others have pointed out. I think loud cars have damaged my hearing some, and I want to be able to open it up without waking up a whole neighborhood, so I really value some muffling, even if it costs a little power. You won't be wishing the car was louder with a midpipe and single turbo (or non-sequential), so the Racing Beat is probably a good choice if my reasoning here makes sense for your needs. Really loud cars get tiring quickly.

CUSTOM exhaust is the only way to go! I'm running the Apexi GT spec muffler with the Borla XR-1 muffler all tied into a complete mandrel bent SS 3" piping and my car is still LOUD, but has a bassy rumble to it

I agree with max about the PE. When my friend and I swapped it onto his GT35/40 single in place of his SP the volume dropped by about 50% under all conditions but wot. They were both loud at WOT, but the PE sounded more ricy, less refined.

I originally had an N1 duel on my car (w seq) which I bought because I wanted to keep it looking somewhat stock but wanted something more free flowing than the racing beat. After a couple road trips with the N1 I couldn't tolerate the droning anymore. I chose the PE because it has a straight through design, good size piping and is all SS. When I installed the PE my max boost went from .96 to .93 without making any other changes. However, there is no droning, the low end improved (according to my *** G-tech) and tone is much deeper than the N1 duel. Overall I think the pros far outweigh the cons. I heard Greddy replaced the PE with the PE II which apparently looks and sounds a lot more like the apexi exhaust systems.

I couldn't agree with Spoolin7 more, I just put a G-power on my TO4E single FD and it sounds way WAY better than the Blitz Nur-spec I had on there before. I can't believe how much it quieted down the idle and cruise noise levels, you still know it is there.. I am just not worried about getting pulled over for noise pollution anymore. The Nur-spec sounds great on twins with a cat, as soon as the midpipe goes on it is totally unbearable in my opinion.. and my midpipe was muffled as well.

HKS Carbon Ti sounded great with stock twins, downpipe and main cat. I don't like it as much with single, downpipe and midpipe. I will be adding Borla midpipe when I can.

I have the apexi n1 single but I have decided that it is too loud for an average commute so I just bought the rb dual tip this weekend. Can't wait to get it

Cool

Racing Beat is the perfect balance between flow, sound and loudness.
