Went Single...now car won't start!?

The other day a friend and I finished my single turbo swap. Along with this swap we changed out a few aspects of the fuel system. These changes were Walbro 255 pump, 1300/850cc injectors and a Power FC. These fuel mods were put in place to support the GT35/40R turbo that we strapped on. Now once I had all these pieces in place and everything back together properly I tried to start the car to see how it was going to run at idle. When trying to start the car it cranked and reacted to me pushing down the gas pedel by starting to sputter and turn over a bit(for a few seconds at most). I did get the car to turn over for a few seconds at a time but didn't continue because I wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong. Now I have a few questions that i'd like to ask in hopes to better understand why my car isn't starting.

First off, does the PFC need to be set to a certain injector size to run in this "base map mode" where it's suppose to learn the systems of the car?

Will not doing the initial wire mod cause this kind of problem when starting the car? By wire mod I mean cuting the 4 wires they say to cut due to emmissions.

Is their anything else I need to change in settings to make sure this is getting adequte air/fuel mix at idle?

OK so I found out you must change the primary and secondary injector sizes to their proper settings in the Power FC. Now my question is can you do that with the Commander or do you need a datalogoit and software to do it?

I have a friend that set his with the comander. He also had to put in new plugs after he fouled the first set.

You can't set the injector sizes over a certain amount without the datalogit...

You can tune your car somewhat with commander.. but there is a ton of stuff you CANNOT access.... not wise to tune with the commander, it would also take forever, and you wouldn't have a way to map your data easily.

Get a datalogit, or borrow one. Just post in the respective forum section for Chicago and ask if anyone has one you can borrow for awhile. I had let someone borrow mine for a couple of months previously.. but I sold it awhile ago otherwise I'd let you use it =/

Anyway - you're going to want to get a datalogit to set things properly.

Also, here is the diagram to pull the pins...
It mainly affects the fan system - fan's won't work with A/C and it acts strange... anyway...

Also - once again I have to recommend getting a datalogit to do this.... otherwise you'll be putting in a new engine yet again.

The commander will allow you to change the 550 to 850 (and correct the other settings associated with that - see the manual).

In the long term, the commander doesn't have the functions you will need/want to run a single.

I think you can max out the injectors at 1000-1100cc on the commander but not anything higher, need a datalogit to do it.

You sound as though you are in over your head. I suggest you pay the money and get the car tuned professionaly.
