Wastegate, Vac Tubing

What is the ideal size of Silicone vacuum tube to run to your wastegate? I have a T04s to an HKS 50mm. Lets say the ideal size is 6mm, what if I use a smaller diameter, larger diameter?

Thanks
Chris

Just use a similar inside diameterhose to the nipple comming off the wastegate. I also like to use fire hose over it to protect the hose from heat.

If it's too small the column of air in the line might not have enough force to work against the spring and open the wastegate. You could have problems controlling boost. I don't think you can make it too large within reason. 6mm is the minimum that I've seen recommended. The line to the top port can be smaller (4mm.)
