Wastegate size?

Wastegate size?
I am getting all the parts necessary to do a single turbo conversion and have a wastegate question. How do i know what size wastegate to use? I am planning to go with a TIAL wastegate. Would a 46mm be sufficient?

Yeah, that is a great wastegate. I bought one, but I found that an HKS unit would go one without having to modify the manifold, so I sent it back. I would have rather used the TiAL; it is a work of art.
Call Chris at xtecheng.com for a good deal on them. Mine was $490 including in/out flanges.
