wastegate fitting placement??? help

so i am wondering if this is a accurate place to read the boost pressure for the waste gate ? if there is a better place?

Ive always used the turbo front cover as a boost source for wastegate.

Just from doing alittle data logging ive found the boost source at the LIM/UIM before the throttlebody to be very jumpy.
