Wanna build a beast

Im looking to start building a turbo engine for a TII shell.

I was looking at S4 housings with S5 rotating assembly. Either large streetport or a bridgeport is going to be the porting depending on what turbo i run. I plan on running FMIC, 3 - 4 inch exhaust, himni's manifold setup, megatech, and the rest of the supporting mods. Im also not worried about street-ability as this car will only see the street one or twice a year if that.

Here is what i was looking at for a turbo Gt40 on a streetport or a gt45/gt47 on a bridgeport.

money is also not a factor. as of next pay period i start getting $1500 bi-weekly and only have to pay $80 for insurance and money for gas in the vert. so i plan on saving all the rest for the build.

Any opinions or suggestions?

if money is not an issue i say full bridge with a gt45r!!!
or an borg warner s480 with the race housing

a semi-peripheral port would be badass too.

I would not get a Megatech because the Remote arm/disarm function will not be as useful due to the extra HP from the GT40

How much power are you trying to make? A GT40R is MUCH different than a GT47R.

GT40 is a 600whp turbo man, do you really want more than that? you will have to upgrade a gazillion other things

With that kind of power level, you'd be better off with at least S5 irons, if not REW. They have much more support at the dowel lands than the S4's.

suggestions about what? do you know what all is involved in the "supporting mods" category? what is your power goal? as stated above, those mentioned turbo's are so far apart its not even funny. what about internal mods to the motor? what kind of apex seals are you going to run? the list goes on.

Are you building his to be a dyno queen, drag queen, track or what?

Cause with power comes great lag, depending on what you get.

If money is no problem buy a motor already built by a pro put all the good stuff on it and have it tuned by one of the best then theres hope it might run and last.

If you have to ask it seems you may not be up to building a beast i know i wasnt so i had it done and dont regret it. I like driving more than watching it set in the garage!
Dont mean to be a dick but thats my opinion! Good luck.

im not worried about stuff sittin in the garage. i just want to build a motor and learn about building a rotary engine. Plus it is a ton more fun to me to have a motor and car i built on my own with out help from a shop(except possibly tuning). Probably will go REW setup. Turbo IS going to be a gt40.

I also meant microtech or one of the other many ways to control the fuel and stuff like that.

Why GT40 specifically? If you have certain power goals, there might be other turbos that get you there more efficiently.

The MAIN question has yet to be answered!!

WHAT IS YOUR POWER GOAL???

a "beast" to me is upwards of 700whp but a beast to you may be 500 so please tell us your power goal!
