Volvo FMIC
I found a volvo FMIC for 45 bucks, and it seems like a good deal, but I am wondering would it hold 15-20 psi of boost, and are they efficent. And am kinda iffy about putting it on a car that will be makeing alot of boost, and since the sides of the IC are plastic it seems like they might split or bust.
But if anyone has one of these on there car tell me what you think of it.

I just did a search, and answered most of my questions.
But I believe it was out of an 840 turbo, but I didn't look at the car real close. Because the intercooler was laying on the hood already, and I just picked it up and moved it so I could go back and get it later if I want it.
But I still want to know how much boost they will hold.

Well I went and bought it for let me see were is my reciept, uhmmm the price after tax and what not was :$42.80.
Does that sound like a good deal, I thought it was since all the other junk yards wanted $100 bucks.
And does anyone with a TII have any pictures of one of these installed. I pretty mcuh know how it goes, but I want to know if anyone has thought of better ways to mount it, and anywere else to put it.

Volvo intercoolers are well made. They can hold a lot of boost. If it's from an 850 Turbo, well, people have run nearly 20psi on those intercoolers. If it's from an older car (240/740 Turbos), then people have run ~35 psi on them.
You're good, don't worry about it.

Well I'm very happy with the cooling that it does.
I hooked the shop vac up to it, and it was blowing hot air out, and then put it on the inlet of the IC and it was ice cold, and even colder when I prayed it with the hose.
But I am wondering about one thing, since it is pretty much the same size as the raditaor, and it is going to be pretty far up in the bumper IMO, how is 1/2 of it going to get air flow? And I forgot to look at what model car the IC came out of So I don't know if it is the strong or week one.
