Very nice runs. Looks like a blast. Man that chevette was nuts, looked like it had rear wheel steering with the amount of time it spent sideways on the track.

I would also like to know your mods, specifically your drive train.

Based on traps and weight of car (3020lbs w/me) ~475rwh with the Precision
T-63 ...I noow have a T-70 in the car and have yet to dyno the car.

Boost was ~18PSI. Had a manifold leak (crack) which always affected my boost controller.

Finally fixed it.

Driveline: 300M chromoly axles, Turbo II diff, Diff brace and ACT disc with Clutchnet PP.

Question for you. Have ever had a problem with you 1/8 mile mph being low but gaining like 32 mph between the 1/8 and 1/4 ? I'm having that problem. Do you think that late shifting or shifting in general would cause that?I'm only getting like 92 mph in the 1/8 and then trapping 123-124 mph trough the 1/4. I just think that there is something that I'm doing wrong through the first two gears.

Any ideas for me, brotha?

WHere are you shifting at on the bottom end? What about your boost? It might be creeping up higher in 3rd and 4th than it does in 1st and 2nd.

John, your cars doing awesome man!!! Keep it up.....next thing you know you'll want some low 10's then high 9's haha

My boost is steady all the way through. My thought on this is......... I've basically got stock ports so..... I've been ringing this thing out to 8400-8500 rpm's through 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear, not on purpose though. I think what's happening is, the power is dropping off tremendously, so I'm losing alot of mph through the 1/8.

Does that seem logical?

You have any dyno charts to see what your curve looks like? Anything is possible but I wouldnt think you changing at 8500 instead of 8000 is dropping you down 5mph in the 1/8. I guess it really just depends on your curve and how bad it falls off. I havent seen any dyno graphs that go out to 8500 on stock ports so I have no idea how bad it falls off.

If memory serves me right, I thought you were running a large frame turbo, most people have a hard time getting the same boost in 1st and 2nd as they do it say 4th. Thats why I thought you might be running a lot higher boost in 4th gear, that would make a huge difference.

I'm running 18 lbs. I get almost full boost in 1st gear and I most def get full boost in second gear. I'm running the hks t51r kai. See my gauges are off and I have a hard time shifting at 7500-7800 and end up shifting way past that, around 8500 is what I normally end up shifting at.

Stock ports will only allow so much air until it's just doing nothing basically so if that's what's happening then my power is probably dropping off drastically.

I've gotten the car to trap 95 in the 1/8 at lower boost levels before but that was before my gauges were messed up.

See what I'm saying?

Believe it or not I've been running a single Walbro 255ltr- high pressure (#341) all this time with OEM wiring. Only last week a re-wired it for constant 14 volts under boost.......since I was starting to see fuel pressure drop @ ~19psi.
