Ok, I don't think I've ever seen this mentioned, but I can't believe how many leaves get into the radiator with the V-mount arrangement. I think if you drove it without checking you could end up with a blockage in less than 500 miles.

I guess that verifies how good the air flow is.


So If you are planning a Vmount, plan on a screen to keep out debris.

 

I like to do a mesh in the bumper to help protect the radiator fins too.
