Urgent! Turbo flange undivided or divided?
From what I understand a divided setup will spool you're turbo faster but you should only use a divided flange with a fully divided manifold. If you were to use a divided flange on an undivided manifold the heat will likely end up breaking the divider and send it through you're turbo causing damage or it could end up in the engine. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
Definately go with a divided manifold and turbine housing. You can run a large A/r divided turbine housing with divided manifold and get quicker spool up than a smaller undivided turbine housing(I made the switch).
The turbo setup I bought off a forum member has a divided turbine and undivided manifold. It's been that way for 4 years and no problems.
I'm sure it would benefit to go with a divided manifold however.

I guess I could also get a spool valve and gain 25% more top end and reduce my spool time by 1000 RPM like the supra guys.
It's what I wanted to do all along but $600 for a 3/4" plate of steel???? I'll wait for the price to drop to $200
(yes I'm over exaggerating a bit)
(yes I'm an FC guy)
