Unmodified harness on single turbo FD?
Doing some research before I pull the trigger on a Turbo Source 7670 kit.
Is it really necessary to modify the harness when doing a single turbo conversion?
Ideally, I would like to leave it alone. I don't mind having a few unused plugs hanging around. I doubt I would ever switch back to twins If I go single, but the option would be nice. I also don't want to tear apart the whole damn harness...
Best,
Alex

You can leave it entirely alone, assuming plug'n play ecu and the harness isn't disintegrating. Worked ones that had all the crap, including the later black vacuum box still in situ...just makes it a nicer experience without all the rubbish on top of the engine. Only exception might be boosting it up and new injectors/connectors required.

Awesome, thats what I assumed, just wanted to make sure. The car is already using a pfc, so im good there. I know I'll have to do something about injector plugs though, hoping there's some sort of plug and play adapter so I don't have to clip and solder them in. I was able to get adapters for the id1000s I have on my Subaru.
