Best Turbo for 270-ish WHP (93 octane) n/a 6 port

I’ve been viewing my options, but results are all over I’m currently at a HX35 or GT35 with a 1.0 Hotside, but unsure if that’s even a good start because of mixed opinions etc.

1. My engine will have a Haltech 550 for an ECU
2. Stock REW? Or biggest 13b injectors (Per my class rules has to be stock on any engine that’s 13B)
3??. An upgraded fuel pump?? Do I need? (91 FC NA)
4. Stock Ports
5. 93 Octane is my fuel of choice.

I want 300HP MAX or About 260WHP & the fastest spooling turbo which can get me there without having crazy high EGTs.

I basically want TORQUE that’s my main concern.
If I’m at 300HP I want at least 280Ft lbs of torque or the most I can get reliably single turbo.

I know I don’t want high PSI’s more like 10-15Psi Max if plausible.

You may not be able to adapt REW fuel rails easily to you block/intake manifold, I would check that before going too far down that path. If you use earlier injectors you may find someone can high-flow them for you and/or run an aftermarket regulator at significantly higher base pressure. Note flow does not increases linearly with pressure but with the square root of the increase ratio.

If you only want 270-300hp (especially US horsepower 😆 ) borgwarner 257 or a larger gt30 or gt3576 with .86 turbine housing would probably do you for lower boost threshold/response (if people are importing factory turbo Ford barra motors there a factory turbo would probably suit you).

Make sure you have cold air getting to the air intake.

I hope you are putting a tremec or 370 gearbox in there, at the very least a turbo box or you will spend more time changing gearboxes that driving. Also a reinforced diff mount.

I have a Turbo 2 Diff & transmission… I’m looking for axles, but they’re all pricey af & the affordable ones the owner don’t wanna ship (Lazy ******&#129325 might need 2 driver side 929 axles (Also need the driveshaft).
Thanks for the info on the rew (side rail) injectors I have a FD upper intake just need an adapter for the FC LOWER & I’ll look into that I know I have other options.

Also all the Bushings will be PartsShopMax in the rear TY for that too

a Garrett G25-660

Less MOI/faster spool than an EFR7063, yet the turbine will flow like the EFR7670 despite the smaller size, the overall turbo packaging size is smaller too

the 0.92 AR IWG divided T4 housing is due to be released for it any day now

full bore it’d be capable of low-mid 400 whp

I'm in the process of building a 6port turbo and used a Elite750. by the time I wired all the support systems I have one DPO left. Mid you that includes AC control, launch control, flat shift input, turbo control, Aux port control among others. I would go for the 750 minimum on a turbo vehicle. Although Im considering the 550 for my Tracker build.
