Question Twins to single convertion directions

I used the search function under "twin turbo to single" with no clear cut answers. Maybe i used the wrong phrase. I know this had to have been adressed a thousand times before? Can someone point me to a link that can explain step by step direstions when converting the stock twin sequential system over to single turbo?

Oddly enough a lot of vendors who sell turbo kits dont have install directions

-What to block off?
-how to deactivate the sequential system?
-Were to cap old coolant/oil lines?
-which coolant oil lines to use (depending on kit)?

I know i probably look retarted posting this but i just wish to make this as painless as it can be

I realise i smelpt conversion wrong

Thanks
Jason

and you smelpt spelt wrong.

Here's a couple to start you off:
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...gle+conversion
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...gle+conversion

and then the 3rd gen FAQ: https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/faq-3rd-gen-other-useful-links-68640/

What else were you looking for as far as info?
Which single turbo are you planning on going with, or are you asking how to run it non-sequential with the stock twins? If that's the case, here's one with pics, I can't find the original how-to: https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...t=rich+man%27s

As far as coolant lines, that will depend on the turbo (if it's water-cooled or not), and will be fairly obvious while you're dong it. Whatever doesn't line up when you're done gets capped off.

Most kits should come with the coolant and oil lines, but that's all the reason to go with a reputable dealer on the forum here such as A-Spec Tuning or Turblown.

By block-off if you mean emissions, there are many emissions block-off kits offered, and again they will be fairly self-explanatory even if they don't have instructions. If you get lost, consult the FSM on where to locate the part to be removed and blocked off.

You can block everything off http://banzai-racing.com/store/FD_block_off_plates.html

Switching the PFC to single turbo is just a matter of turning off the sequential turbo system option.

There are a bunch of single turbo conversions on our site, you might want to look through a few, it will give you an idea of what needs to be done. Here is one http://www.banzai-racing.com/2009_cu...stallation.htm

Thanks for those links..........super helpful

Is it possible to not re-do the harness for a while? to just somehow deactivate and "cap" off the sequential system?
Do you remember any posts that have been well documented with pictures?

Couldn't agree more, stumbled across this link last week. Reason enough to order the A-spec GT35R kit and related components mentioned in the how-to... looks like an excellent write-up.
