I would go with the T-78 on a stock engine. The 72 wont get full boost until around 5500-6000 rpms on the stock motor. The T78 would be better for a non ported engine

Hey Marcel!
What's the max boost pressure do you plan on running?
Your answer would determine which turbo best suit your needs.
BTW. Are you just looking for a turbo or a complete kit?

I am thinking about 18psi max. on the stock block and maybe 25-28 after I'm "built" ,and i'm just looking for a turbo (at a good price!!!) and I would put together my own kit ,the currency exchange rate is a bit high ie. US1$=TT $6.3 , when you guys spend $1200.00 on a turbo I spend about $8000.00TT ,so the more expensive ones are definately out of the question.

Hey Marcel!
I'm very familiar wth the Trini dollar conversion!
In the 18 to 25psi range a T-66 would best suit your needs.
If you're going to be running at 27 to 30 psi on a continous basis then a T-70 would do. The T-72 is better suited in the 30psi +ranges!
I wouldn't reccomend any of the Greddy/Mitsubishi turbos for your situation mainly because of cost and repair downtime.
Is this a race or street car you're building?
