Turbonetics NEW line???

Disclaimer: Comments that are strictly opinion based are not solicited. Please govern your selves accordingly.

Does anyone have factual information or experience with Turbonetics “NEW” Line of turbos

i.e.
-GT-K (compressor maps)
-Super T Series (what makes it so Super)
-F1 Trim wheels (Turbine Map)

-Or the BRAND newTNX” which Turbonetics claims to be:
Baddest,
Meanest,
Toughest
Turbocharger
PERIOD!

I went to the Turbonetics website and it says a whole lot of nothing (no facts just big claims). In my opinion.

I bought a TO4E60 trim with the F1 exhaust wheel, looks just like my old P trim wheeled to4E57 trim.

The exhaust wheel sems to be identical, with the exception of being composed of iconel (I have no way to verify that claim though) but I do know that a standard P trim wheel exhaust housing seems to fit around the wheel no problem.

I know ModifiedKC used a Super T-72 .81AR on their PRO-AM SFWD Car Best E.T. 9.896 Best MPH 151, 740 horspower. Its a monster of a turbo, It amazes me how they fit it in their, car still runs strong. Haven't seen it on any rotary apps though.

I haven't personally used one or looked at it, but the GT-K turbos are ballbearing with smallish hotsides. They use all variations of the basic T series stuff:

So take a look at the GTK 500. It lists the compressor wheel inducer as 2.324" and the size as "HP60." That is most likely the common 60-1 wheel or something close to it. http://www.turbocharged.com/catalog/compmaps/fig9.html

And then for the GTK 325 it lists the compressor as an "E50," so really similar to the T04E 50 trim, which is also in that list of compressor maps I showed. And then the turbine wheel is a T3 stage 3. Here is the list of turbine wheel measurements for the T series: http://www.turbocharged.com/catalog/twheel.html

The GTK 550 has a T61 compressor wheel has the same dimensions as the GT35 compressor wheel, with a turbine wheel that has a lower trim # but a larger diameter.

I think when you get beyond the marketing these are probably ball bearing versions of the old T series turbos with turbine wheels and housings that are optimized for response on piston engines.

I have seen the specs chart before, but they have yet to release any *maps* (the maps may confirm our thoughts)
