i have a gtu rx7 and want to turbo swap it. i was thinking of what motor to get. its ether between the s5 t2 motor with harness, ecu, tranny, and other stuff. or go with the 13b cosmo tt with every thing besides the tranny. im just wondering how hard is it to do the cosmo swap? also if a t2 tranny will fit the cosmo?

 

I take it its not the GTUs with the 430 gears!
Has 4 bolt wheels and is a base model with a gtu sticker?
If so it will involve more to get it to hold and power and get the trannie to work.

its a 90 s5 gtu has 5lugs

 

It has the base diff with 410 gears 7'' ring gear and the lighter trannie. You can make it work but you will need someone that knows the change over stuff well.
You would be ahead of the game if you had a t11 to start with or a parts t11.
