I live in Evansville, 47711 I've got an OEM S5 turbo that needs rebuilt and am not happy with the only local turbo shop. I've been in to talk to the owner a couple times and I don't get a good feel from him. He gives me estimated prices well above prices I've found online. Price for a stock rebuild is more than BNR, price for rebuild kit is twice that of Gpopshop.com, price for balancing is twice Gpopshop. When I ask questions he talks down to me. General feel I get is that he'd get my turbo apart and start telling me the dilithium crystals are out of flux and I had a matter-antimatter reaction...etc, etc.

What shops are in the southern IN, Western KY, Eastern IL areas? I'm about 2.5 hours from St Louis, 2 hours from Louisville, 2 hours from Nashville. I'm not looking for anything extreme.

I'm in the process of rebuilding my 13B and am still deciding what to do about the turbo while I educate myself about turbos and what my options are.
