Turbo Question

When upgrading the stock twin turbos would an aftermarket twin turbo kit produce acceleration or top end power? Or is it better just getting a single? If i get to sell my 2.5RS and get a Rx7 i would want a turbo that would spool up fast and so that i could get a lot of acceleration in the beginning. Thanks!

Generally twins will give you better low end power and large singles will give your more high end power, and more power overall.
The limit for streetable twins is about 500 rwhp, where as the limit for a large single is about 650 rwhp (this is on a streetported 13B).
The single will make more power at the same PSI, and give you faster acceleration and 1/4 mile time. The twins will spool up faster and give you more lower rpm power, meaning generally nicer for everyday driving around town.

With a single, there are other benefits such as it is more reliable (1/2 as many parts to go wrong) and a lot simpler due to the elimination of lots of vacuum hoses, piping, etc.

By the sounds of it, something like the BNR Twins upgrade would be good for you. It still keeps the twins but they are upgraded units so that you can make some good power (like 500 rwhp) with them.
