Turbo q's.
So i should be just weeks away from my GXL/TII swap and i'm already planning for upgrades. I'm working in a FMIC and BOV with my install. First on the post install mods will be megasquirt and a wideband. I'm looking at the alien auto manifold and a reasonably sized turbo. I want to make ~250-300rwhp daily. I'd like to bump the power up to ~400rwhp for track days.
When i rebuild it i'm looking to go high compression (lightweight?) rotors, a mild streetport (emissions), and chromoly flywheel- eventually water/alky injection. I want power from the bottom to the top and i want response when i put my foot down. I've been looking at the HKS GT's but recently the BorgWarner S200 has crossed my eye.
Anywho you have my plans any suggestions?

I also have a GXL (1990) and I'm converting to TII as I accumulate parts. I'll be using a stock turbo but with a T-bird compressor. The stock turbo spools pretty quick. You are on the right track with Megasquirt and wideband, I'm waiting on Zeal Engineering to get things together on that. If you want power in the bottom end as well as upper, go easy on the streetport....not too aggressive so that you lose bottom end. The upgrades that seem to make the most difference are in freeing up exhaust flow and using a standalone ecu.
