Turbo II Question

I have a 1987 Mazda Rx7 Turbo II. I installed my AutoMeter Air/Fuel Gauge. When I start my car in the morning the gauge says it's running lean! Is this normal or is something wrong with my car? Then when the car has warmed up it says it's running in stouch/rich.

Thanks.

it is not accurate till the 02 sensor heats up which can ake up to 5 minutes, also those autometer gauges aren't very accurate to begin with, let alone at driving around town . they work better under WOT

Let me add that A/F gauges aren't that accurate anyways.
