turbo ID

So can anyone help me identify this turbo? It's a Garrett, I think. The car was built around 2014 in Japan when Rocket Bunny was big. The compressor wheel measures about 75.3 mm at the base, although that measurement could be slightly off because I wasn't able to get my calipers on it perfectly. The only markings I've been able to find are "Garrett M24 A/R .70 EC-1." I can't find any other identifying marks on it, and it's so tight in the engine bay that I think they may have installed it on the engine before putting the engine in the car. There may be additional identifying marks on it that I'm missing because of how little access there is in the engine bay.

this is likely. my understanding of how these older Garrett turbos worked is like this. The T04B compressors with a 0.70 A/R and 4" inlet, all used the same basic compressor housing casting, marked EC-1, M24.
they can then machine this housing for different compressor wheels. so like a GT35, T04S and T04R all use this compressor housing casting, its just machined differently depending on the compressor wheel.

if you're really a Garrett nerd, the casting letters vary depending on what Garretts parent company was at the time. yours is pretty close to what they have now, if you bought new the GARETT is bigger, a really old one would have the A from air works, and the M24 70ar in small letters by the compressor outlet

blah blah, you probably are right that it is a T04S, but it is possible its something different. (if it was an HKS T04R it would have the bullet style compressor nut, so its not that)
