Turbo Decision For Incoming RX-7
Hello
Within the next month I should be picking up a nice RX-7 Woohoo
Ditching my silly 93.5 Supra(not going into why - thats a whole 'nother issue)
The car, if it doesnt already have one, will be getting a new motor with a mild street port, a good going over and most importantly new turbo(s)
I put this thread here because almost 100% chance of me going single turbo for simplicity reasons (short fuse and no patience ).
I am really leaning towards a T78 because through my searches I see its a good turbo for the power, a good value, and best of all the lag is supposedly not that bad.
Thing is I dont know if it will fit my needs.
I want to run about 320-350whp daily, safely. However, on pump gas, I want to be able to crank the boost to get around 400-420whp.
Lag isnt really TOO big of an issue for me, I dont mind revving the **** out of it.
Anyone have a suggestion on something to better fit my needs, and if the T78 is your choice, does anyone know an intercooler/piping that will fit up without any fabrication?
Thanks

I can set you up with the whole deal when your ready(450R package), from motor build to turbo kit. Fuel system, , IC and ECU. I can get you 450whp daily on pump gas without turning the boost up or being any more laggy than said T-78. I can do this and offer a better warranty and parts availabilty as well over Greddy. you will need a clutch as well.

Should have been more specific, I want to be able to run a very safe, conservative amount to provide around 300-350whp that I can run daily, and when I have to, turn it up to make around 400-450 that way I can drive around most of the time with a reliable car and not worrying about having TOO much power(is it even possible? lol) But when I go to the strip be able to turn it up on pump gas and have enough power.
