When you add a single turbo, what do you do to keep from running lean? I know the obvious answer is add fuel, but I wanted something more in depth. Do you just program the ecu to add more fuel when the turbo spools? Does it have to be professionally tuned?

 

In a nutshell, yes. That's half of it. But, the big brother of the two (the other half) is laying out the leading-advance configuration as well as trail-split timing. The timing when the plug fires has everything to do with what the air/fuel ratios will look like.

None. There's too many variables; each car is different.
