You cannot just put together a top 5 FD turbo kit list.

This "list" will change dramatically depending on the application. The Greddy T-78 will be far from the top of the list no matter what application, except maybe for drag use, but even still it is not a top selection... That turbo is ancient technology. There are some pretty disappointing dyno sheets from that turbo floating around.

I think with A-Spec's introduction of the 500R, it should make the list. But like was said above, it's an opinionated question. Eric Cheatham (LUPE) would say the T51R was best, but I wouldn't. It's all up to your goals.

It'll depend where also.

I bet this list would be different for Canada, PR, Japan. Heck, probably even just parts of each country also.

But I think the list is kewl. Mine's on there so I'm happy (but own an FC )

I think what the original poster meant was that these are the most used(as in on people's cars right now) setups from what he could find on RX7club.

Maybe he went through the post your single turbo setup section and kept track of what people had?

I think the t70 is an up and comming popular turbo setup coupled with a half bridge. Can't wait to see what this thing can do.

Sales has nothing to do with it...numbers speak for themselves.

I'm going to get a dyno for the single turbo section. I'm going to be running this car mostly at the track so it's going to be on race gas and meth/water injection. I would like to push 30psi out of it if I can. I was talking to a guy from www.wwrturboinjection.com and he had an rx3 all done up with the same turbo and he said he hit 45psi on it and got that little thing down the track at 8.xx seconds so it can deffinately handle the higher boost levels (for how long is going to be the question ) Numbers coming soon though!
