to4e vs. BNR's hybrids

How would a t04e, let's say 50 trim, stack up against BNR's stage 1 or 2 hybrid turbo in efficiency in the upper rpm range and spool? I've been doing some research on both, and they both seem like a really good deal, but has anybody had experience with the two?

Thanks,

~Ant

You would want to go with a 57/60 trim T04E. There really isnt' a comparison, they will spool about the same, but the E will make 100+ more at the wheels from 4k on...

your gonna need alot more to run a to4e the right way...if you don't have emissions where you live you might as well go all out (stand alone, bigger injectors..maybe new rails...walbro..separate boost controller...and if you get the TO4E I don't think you have to run a internal wastegate anymore..the stock one sucks..)

oh btw how fast is your car the way it is? (1/4 times)

I have the t04e on my 93 fd and I would highly recommend it. right now at 12 psi im only making 310rwhp but i've done lots of research on these turbos and with the larger trims (57-60) you can make a maximum of around 450whp on a street ported motor before the turbo runs out of breath. somebody correct me if im wrong but 17-19psi is the most the t04e can push and is... for most people plenty of boost. If your looking for a nice streetable (not large) size turbo with good responsiveness and impressive low-end torque, then this is for you. o and dont go any bigger then 1.00 a/r on the hot side, its not needed for the power levels this turbo makes.

I haven't got an official times at the drag yet, but I tied a 13.99 second 96 svt cobra mustang on 5psi and also walked a 13.8 second sc grand prix while I was on about 7psi... on 12 psi I would guess she's around a 13 mid or so..
