TO4E Questions!?

To those who are knowledgeable about the TO4E:

I am installing my turbo, and am running into a couple of problems.
The instructions keep calling for me to install the coolant lines to the passenger side of the turbo. There are only two outlets on the turbo, one for oil in, and the other I believe for oil out, right. Does coolant flow through this turbo like in the stock twins?

Also, the oil inlet on the turbo has a flange that gets screwed into it, and a steel braided hose that attaches it to the oil pipe on the car. This flange I have only has a tiny pin sized hole for the oil to flow through, yet the fittings and hose line are at least 3/8". Is this a manufacturing flaw, or is it supposed to be this way? I can drill it out if neccessary.

Thanks
Jason

block up the coolant lines on the engine. with my engine (2nd gen) I made a block off plate and for the other coolant line I used the rubber pipe and jammed a bolt into it and used a hose clamp.

i know the hole for the pressure feed is ussualy small, but a pin size hole??? i don't know whether u should drill it out, but if u do make sure every little bit of metal shaving is out.

That is an oil restrictor if my memory is correct, its there to stop over oiling and flooding of the bearing cavity with oil, if you drill it out, the turbo may smoke excessively.. I was talking with a to4e owner the other day, he said he had a oil smoke problem until a restrictor was added to his oil line, it was .060 I think he said, and stopped his blue smoke problems..Max

I can see it as being a restrictor, but hell, it is pretty damn restrictive. If I put a drop of oil in the flange, I doubt it will drip through the hole. I know pressure will cause it to spray out through the hole, but I hate to run it if the turbo is not getting the neccessary oil.
Thanks for the info guys!
