I thought timing should DECREASE with boost, not increase...

I read somewhere...

Advance sould decrease to the point of max torque. Then at that point you can start advancing.

Anything more on that?

I blew up 4 engines ,2 Tlls and 2 FDs, learning how to tune for max HP without a dyno, on a HI-boost rotary I dont think you can !! I got spoiled at many Daytona 24s, N/A rotarys could run 7500-9000 for 24hrs. no problem, add boost and everything changes. Yes GUITAR is right on with what he says, lets face it, we all want 450-500hp out of such a small power unit, and it takes experience and many mistakes ( broken seals, broken corners ETC.) THX Ron

let me say, try to go to 800hp with a 13B, talk about a learning curve!! BUT dont give up you will remember for the rest of your LIFE. THX Ron
