You guys with t-78, what kind of times are you guys running ??? I cant wait to run my car, I cant write now becuase my rear-end is stock. Anybody ran pushing 20psi and over??? what about 15psi?? Im very curius. I want something to shoot for when I run. Im expecting 10.80's at 15 psi on slicks.(not my first run)

Tony from T&R Racing has put over 620hp to the rear wheels with a T78 on a street port. his car ran 10.27 at the rx-7 vs supra event.

Re: time slips and t-78??

I ran 30-32psi when I had a T78 on my car. It went 10.67@132 with ET Streets on a STOCK REAR. I'm guessing if you think you're going to run 10.80s@15psi you probably also think that you'll run 5.40's when you run 30psi??? Oh yeah wait, you have to change your rear first...Sorry I forgot

LOL......I have to agree with Ray on this one.

At 15psi you'll be lucky (if you can drive) to run mid 11's.

Isn't 408 on a ported engine and a stock T-78 kinda of average? Sounds like it needs tuned pretty bad, was it rich?

At 14lbs I dynoed at around 410rwhp back when I had the Power Fc. I went 11.22 @ 122mph with a 1.58 60'......So with only 406rwhp, its not happening.

Hey before you give any tech info you better call D

Rikki,
On my worst day I can out drive you. Proof of that is in the pooooooddddinnngg. On a stock motor and stock turbo's I went 11.7. And that was on drag radials! You have full slicks and a "race motor" and can't beat my time. Your 60' times ain't cuttin it to run 10's....my take...

Actually they are ET streets and if you are not carfull I might even go out and do it this weekend.
rikki you gotta beat Boostn7 he ran 11.5 @ 122 on nitto 555R drag radials on stock engine and stock turbos.... he's the man to beat right now. i forsee him going in the 10's on slicks on stock block and stock turbo's !!!

hell boostn7 is even running faster than me. i'm jealous too. he's doing an awesome job !!!
