I know members on here have gotten 380 hp to the wheels with a TO4E, I would go with TO4S from cheapturbos.com. Set up, well you should now all of those things such as stand alone, big injectors, bigger fuel pump, 50mm wastegate, ect ect

For an affordable FMIC, you can use one from an Isuzu NPR Box Truck. There are people who have used those for up to 500hp.

And a koyo radiator(group buy for only 250) would help substantialy.

TurboIIFC just reached that goal with a T04E and 14.7 psi.

Give a BorgWarner #313102 TO4B turbo a try but change the 1.15 A/R P-Trim to a 0.96 A/R housing. It will work wonders on a stock or street ported motor; trust me.

Wow has this topic been beaten to death. I wish I was a mod

350rwhp on a dynojet is a simple defeat.

Recipie for a Series 4/5:

Good healthy motor (stock ports okay)
SupraTT or Walbro 255HP fuel pump
720x4 injectors or 550/1600 or 720/1600, etc etc. (If using 720x4, watch your duty cycle)
Adjustable FPR (Aeromotive, SX, etc.)
Stock Ignition in good shape (BUR9EQ x 4), good alternator, good plug wires, etc.
Haltech E6K/X/E8/E11v2/etc, Microtech LT8s, etc. etc. standalone fully programable
HKS T04 Cast Turbo manifold
60-1 compressor wheel with P trim exhaust wheel in a 0.81 - 0.96 collected tang. housing
Greddy or equivalant large IC with 2.5"+ piping
HKS SSQV or TIAL BOV
Tial 35mm+ wastegate with large base spring (10+ psi)
Profec B, HKS EVC EZ, etc. simple electronic boost controller

Last but not least, tuning! Choose your poison yourself on this one. I would highly suggest someone with rotary specific tuning abilities (Steve Kan, Brian D. Cain, Sean (A-Spec), Jason (RX-7 Store), etc. etc.

This a tried and true setup that has been done MANY times over. Making the power is easy, being responsible enough to stay within the good practices parameters is the key to reliability.

Mdd0101 <BDC> I have to agree with him as you will get the power your desiring plus low end torque and it will definatley be less of a bother to drive on the streets, a Garrett/Airesearch turbo T-04B run real good if you change up the exhaust housing i have a friend who builds my turbos for my specific motors and honestly reliablity and performance and enjoyment are all my requirements. I can smoke any exotic car on the streets and its plenty fun trust me...
