So which wastegate is better the HKS Or the Tial?

 

aren't the flanges different... they are pretty much teh same... in my opinion... HKS makes the highest quality products in the market.

some turbo manifolds use the HKS flange so the TIAL won't fit. it really depends on what manifodl u have i guess.

 

I will be using the OBX intake manifold, i think the HKS one fits.

 

I have owned a Tial 40mm wastegate and BOV and have been VERY impressed with the quality of TIAL. I also have an OBX manifold and I would rather run a Tial 40mm than the HKS. I know the 35mm Tial was made specifically to replace the deltagate and as such matches its' flange.

will the 40mm be enough or should one buy a larger, like the 46mm? i can get a deal on either, but the 46 is like $100 more.

I can't confirm this, but I can attest to the quality of TIAL BOV and WG's.

You certainly are getting a good product with TIAL!
