i found these kits for like 1900 bucks. theyre a kkk stage 2 replica. anyways heres a link to the website. hes got 2 kits offered right now. are these just **** quality?

Jason is correct and trying to help the guy out. Not a biased opinion. I went on his site and looked at the pictures of his kits. It looks like the ebay turbo kits to me. You can see from the pics on the turbo that they have that line in the middle of the cold side compressor housing, which is GLUED together on the ebay turbos. It looks too close to the ebay stuff to buy a kit that is a "knock off". Look on ebay and search on this site for ebay turbo and study the pictures closely to the ones on that guys site. You can easily see the similarities. Jason was only saying that to warn you, dont make the mistake some others have made and throw away 1800 bucks!

Besides that look at the pics of the turbo kit installed on the 7 and look at the turbo kits he has pictured on his basement floor!! They are different turbos!

ok i got mixed feelings.. it says its a KKK copy and i have seen quite a few people use the kkk stage 2 kit.. they say theyre pretty happy with it. the turbos do look very similar.. and i heard ray at SR Motorsports uses the exact same turbo except he grinds off the serial numbers and puts his own tag on it.... can i get some more solid yes and no anwers?

1900 bucks i would not buy it like some said, it's ebay stuff and with that money you can get a gt42, use the same ss autochrome manifold he's selling and you would come out cheaper with a know good turbo. BUT like one guy said you can be our test dummy.

It's obvious the wasetgate is an ebay knockoff, the manifold too (but at least he SAYS he'll reweld it in certain parts).

maybe you didn't get it. But basically, why is it so cheap? Looks similar to the manifolds used in rx7store.net turbo kits for the FD. Are they? If so, can anyone on here chime in with response to quality. It's either a killer deal, or something's up. You can PM me or help me hijack this guys thread.
