Apexi Turbo Kit and Intercooler

Hi
I can get a good deal on an Apexi turbokit with an intercooler. Problem is Ive never used Apexi products only HKS and RE-A. My questions are general. Whats possible HP? Whats good boost setup? Good boost response and turbolag? Are they reliable? Are they worth getting at all? Any info or ideas would be great.
Thanks

My issue with the Apexi turbo kit is price. You can get a turbo that has similar response for a lot cheaper. Other than that its a nice turbo setup.

What other kits might be similar? Ive only used 2-3 companies in like 10 years. Thanks.

The apexi kit is great, but pricey. Similar and cheaper would be Garret GT35r based kits.

I was thinking more along the lines of T04E with the largest turbine a/r available for it

So a 57mm to4e turbine wheel, fitted into a t04s housing of .70 turbine a/r and 1.15 exhuast a/r? The apexi cars don't shoot for big numbers.
