NY temp limit on AN fittings

i was wondering how much heat can aluminum AN fittings take before melting. Is it bad for the fittings to touch the exhaust housing? the reason i am asking is because the way i have my return line routed, the 90* AN fitting touches the exhaust housing. there is no room to clock it even a little due to the position i have my turbo. I have searched russel performance's site and their tech page is down.
I personally have used aluminum plumbing many times but have never had to run it contacting the exhaust housing. Anybody know if it's safe or will it ruin my fittings and cause leaks?

I had a my drain line sitting right next to the manifold, no problems. I had the SS line covered in a heat sleeve, but the fittings themselves were uncovered.

you don't want it touching. It might take a while, but it will wear through, and of course it will fail when you least expect it at the most inconvenient time possible and probably **** you over.
