t78 Fc manifold will fit FD???

t78 Fc manifold will fit FD???

As stated above, can somebody tell me if a T78 turbo and manifold (originally for a FC) will fit a FD, without modification?

I dont have the engine around otherwise I would have measured.

nope, there is different amount of space on the sides of the engines.

hmnm, thats to bad, The turbo's would be the same, that means that I have to change the manifold, what do I have to change, the angle of the flange?

I think its the width between the ext ports that makes teh difference.

That's not correct. I am almost certain that a manifold will bolt the same way to the side of the block. It might not work anyway because of the LIM though.

well, thats what I thought too, I thought the only problem was the downpipe and the widht of the engine

Well see what happens when I have my engine back.

i'm pretty sure the motor mount location will keep you from using the fc manifold on an fd.

i think the motor mount location will keep you from using an FC manifold on an FD. wastegate wont have clearance.
