T78 Compressor map

Has anyone ever found a T78 compressor map? I've gone as far as having a friend in Europe who works with industrial diesel turbo applications check with his Mitsubishi rep. my friend was informed that the T78 is not a Mitsu turbo. Discuss...

I just went through a huge fiasco trying to have my T78 rebuilt. It does use Mitsubishi parts but I have a feeling that Mitsu does not label the T78, that's a GReddy marketing scheme. If one compares the T78 compressor to say a T66, they're pretty much identical in size. So we may be looking at a different turbo under the Mitsubishi moniker. When are you coming back to Florida? :-)

Not sure on the compressor but from looking at a T-78 turbine wheel it looks pretty close to my TD07 turbine.

Michel,

Good question <g> I may come down to Sebring for the SCCA National, but it will probably be the Rolex when I actually come over.

I proposed that the MRCCFL group do Sebring instead of Daytona (more factory teams, variety etc..) regardless, I'll probably be at Daytona as well.

Michel,

Timing-wise, a January trip to FL is better. We are like you guys and run 12 months a year. It is hard to find a free weekend. I will do 21 track events in 2002 and only one is mid week. Yowee!

A T-78 is a hybrid turbine just like the T-67 and so on.

The rear is basically a TD-07 with a larger compressor wheel on the front or should I say a more effecient compressor on it.
