T70..... to big for the street?

Hey guys, iam interested in upgrading to a single over the winter, i was oringally looking at gt35r kits and other small-medium size turbos, but as of yesterday i have a really good chance to pick up a T70 kit for a fairly good price, i believe the turbo is made by turbonetics, but iam not positive on that, what i was wondering was, is this turbo streetable or is the lag to much for the street, i searched but i didnt come up with much, if anyone had any personal expierence with this turbo on their rx7 or other cars please chime in and give me your opinion, also if i got this turbo kit would you recommend some engine porting to help with the lag?
all opinions are welcome, my current mods are in the sig minus a few, thanx in advance

I do not have -personal- experience, but I have been looking at a lot of dynos ...

In my opinion, I don't think a T70 is a good street turbo. From the "T" family, I'd go with the T66 for the street.
