no need for a t66 for that boost and power level. they don't really start to blow until they're in the high teen/low 20's psi.

60-1, 35r, etc would be better for if you're only gonna run 15psi. but if you already have the turbo, go for it.

The hot side is kinda small which may limit hp potential to less than 400 rwhp due to backpressure. The turbo compressor side will not be limiting hp at this boost level but due to it's large size you might be sacrificing a little spool up time and it will surge a bit on the low end.

I could have sworn he used a PT67 wich is a true 67mm turbo. Didn't pianoprodigy make like 430rwhp?

i had a t66 on my old car for a while, used to make 410rwhp on our dynos on 14psi then high 400's on 16-17psi,

plenty of turbo to run into the 9's with, the best street turbo by far

i had 426rwhp at .8bar (~11psi) with a t-66/35r hybrid, hotside 1.06. i hit 15psi by 3800 rpm, but never dyno'd at that boost level. highest boost i ran was 17psi and the difference (butt dyno) from 15 to 17 was bigger than the jump from 12 to 15. so i think it is safe to say that the turbo was getting closer to its efficiency range. it was a blast to drive!!!

not at 15 psi or on pump gas. Come on guys, hp potential is one thing but there are lots of these setups that never hit 400 rwhp due to other constraints. Hell, I have seen alot of single turbo cars and modded twins that could not even pull to redline due to setup and tuning problems. These forums are great for pumping up expectations but let's keep it real.

1.7bar or 25 psi boost

580.1bhp @ 7500rpm on a engine dyno (whatever the hell that equals on a chassis dyno, you figure it out !)

Plain bearing T66, 1.00 divided rear housing and Q trim turbine, makes 400bhp from 5000rpm.

Great turbo as Dale said, by far best street turbo you can hope to run, if your not interested in running real boost (anything over 20psi is real mans boost) then dont waste your time even with this, get a 60-1 or something similar The T66 you want to be running at about 1.9 to 2.0bar (29 to 30psi) to make the most of it on a street port 13B, and YOU CAN run this level on pump fuel with water injection with appropriate tuning.
