what would be the most similar GT series turbo to the t04z? the gt4088? 4094R?

I know that for the GT series turbos garrett will repair the turbo if you destroy your turbine blade, but will they do that for the t series turbos?

i checked the garrett website and its not on the list.

 

 

ya i saw that. Im tempted to use a gt series just incase i decide to send one of my apex seals through my turbo i can get it fixed. What gt series is the most similar to the t04z?

 

the to4z is off my head a 84.0mm exd./66.7mm compressor

and the GT4088R has similar specs to it ( 63/88 I believe ), And both flow similar.

 

I have heard and read this aswell
