T04S, T04E, or non-sequential twins

I just found out my primary turbo of my non-sequential setup is bad and the secondary turbo is acting as both - my car is a dog down low. I have to replace them and I know what you single guys think but there is a cost issue here. Pros of the non-sequential stockers - cheap to rebuild - $900-1100 for a good rebuild but high cost of getting them in and out of the car ($500) if something goes wrong. However, I know the XS turbos are watercooled which helps reliabity and are very inexpensive to fix at $200-300 for parts unlike the RX6. I want a fun car to drive - around town and on the highway - something to spool quickly without much lag. Not interested in the larger Greddy turbos - mainly the T04E and S. What are your experiences with these turbos and are they daily driveable and fun to drive on backroads and around town - I know what they would be like on the highway What do you think?

I went with the XS T04e kit. Mine is a daily driver and Dave from KDR said it was the right choice for me. He also said it was a dream to install.
