t04r to downpipe

I am having a problem with the t04r I got from davinci's. The turbo is fine, but the downpipe to turbo connection leaks and leaks bad. The turbo housing has is flared and the downpipe has a flared end as well. Then the clamp is supposed to slide over it and tighten down. The problem is that the turbo and the downpipe are two different sizes so it will grab onto the turbo but not the pipe. any ideas?

I assume you are refering to a v-band clamp set up when you say 'flared'.
It sounds like you have the wrong sized flange on your downpipe. You can purchase these from Burns stainless, you may have to get it, cut the small one off and weld the correct sized one in its place.
Failing that you could try a ring over it to make up the size but this may not work too well.

send it back ...our vendor made the flange 1/8" too small. generally causes no problem but, if it does i will fix.
