T-78 Vs. RX-6
I'm looking for single setup, right now.
I don't want insane big turbo, because I think I'm gonna use turbo for auto-x.
But... The only offer I got is just T-78.., so I'm thinking very seriously....
How do you guys think?
Can it be good solution for auto-X?
What is the pros and cons?

I would have to agree with $150FC. The GT35/40 is a fast spooling turbo if you have a nice streetport. The RX-6 setup from Apex'i is a great AutoX setup though. It spools very fast and is capable of some really nice rwhp numbers. I would look at that first and then the RX-6. Don't forget about the T04E though. A bb version of that would be really nice for what you're looking for. Hope that helps some.

For auto-x definitely not a T78. That's mostly for drag/strip use. I would go with an RX6 if i had the money. I've tried it on a friends car with mild street porting and it's so fast spooling that i can even compare it with the stock twins.
Hope that helps

If your looking for a "quicker" spooling turbo, and your only interested in using it for x-cross/track day's, I'd go with the RX6. Keep in mind that if you ever pop your engine and send any debris into the turbo, your screwed. I've yet to hear of a shop that will rebuild the turbo.
The GReddy unit on the other hand, spool's relatively fast on a street ported engine, and part's for it are almost common place. Pretty much every shop can rebuild it.
Good luck!

If you are serious about auto-x, you should stick with the sequential twins. No single will provide as much low end power and as quick a spool. The Z06 is already dominant because of it's low end torque in auto-x, I don't think reducing your low end power is going to help you.

RX6 or GT3540 but the ones you want arnt the big ones for autoX
You want the RX6A or the Smaller GT3540 with the .86 A/R hot side. Those are both ball bearing and they are the smaller sized singles so they will spool better. Also they will both make as much or more power then single turbos. And low end spooling.
