Turbo manifold
Hey, i need opinions from experts on this.
Im going to change my twin seq set up to a t04 setup
but i will NOT hand over my cash for a HKS turbo kit. U know how expensive they are. (it may sound dumb but when u see the price, i felt like i needed a coronary bypass)
So im thinking of trying to built my own kit.
I found a nice used T04B from a friend in japan
the turbo has no oil leaks and the spin is smooth, no shaft play.
my problem is the t4 exhaust manifold. When i see the HKS stainless steel turbo manifold, it costs about $1000!!!!!!!
So i researched and found some companies that produce t4 turbo manifolds for rx-7s. They sound promising: tig welded, stainless, 2.7mm thick, and cheaper too!
Should i be thinking about purchasing it? or should i do more research? Cause i dont see many posts about turbo manifolds. Can the experts here give me some pointers?
What else should i be looking for to complete my kit? excluding e c u.
